What gets sent to mymind

  • Text becomes text/markdown object content.
  • Links send the cached title and URL.
  • Images and files upload as a multipart blob with metadata.
  • Configured spaces, tags, and note are attached to every object.

Set up mymind in Capture

  1. Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
  2. Choose mymind from the app picker.
  3. Create a Full access key at access.mymind.com/extensions.
  4. Enter its key identifier and the base64 secret shown once at creation; optionally add space IDs, tags, and a Markdown note.
  5. Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

Example: a quick capture to mymind

Configure your Research space ID and “capture” tag. Exporting a PDF uploads it as a mymind object in that space with the tag and shared note.

Send the capture

  1. Open an existing Capture and choose its configured mymind export action.
  2. Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by mymind.

Limits and troubleshooting

Limits

  • File uploads are capped at 64 MB.
  • Space IDs must satisfy the exact length/count format.
  • The API secret is only shown when the mymind key is created.

Troubleshooting

  • If Capture rejects the secret, paste the original base64 value without extra text.
  • If spaces fail validation, use no more than 100 comma-separated 22-character IDs.
