Catch a link in Capture while you are browsing, then send it to Opener. Send a captured link to Opener and decide whether Opener may perform an automatic open action.

What gets sent to Opener
- The absolute URL is sent to Opener’s show-options route.
- Disabling auto open adds allow-auto-open=false.
Set up Opener in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose Opener from the app picker.
- Use Capture on iOS/iPadOS/visionOS and install Opener.
- Choose whether Opener can automatically act on launch.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

Disable Allow auto open, then export a YouTube link. Opener shows the available apps instead of choosing one automatically.
Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured Opener export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by Opener.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- Only links are supported.
- Opener is excluded from Capture’s macOS destination picker.
- The option requires Opener 1.3 or later.
Troubleshooting
- If the destination is missing on Mac, that is expected; configure it on iOS-family platforms.
- If Opener auto-opens despite the setting, update Opener.
