Catch a link in Capture while you are browsing, then send it to Raindrop. Save a Capture link to Raindrop through its API, optionally targeting a collection while Raindrop fetches page metadata.

What gets sent to Raindrop
- The link is required.
- Cached page title is sent up to 1,000 characters.
- An optional numeric collection ID is sent; blank uses Unsorted.
- Capture requests background metadata parsing.
Set up Raindrop in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose Raindrop from the app picker.
- Create an integration at app.raindrop.io/settings/integrations and copy its Test token.
- Paste the token and optionally enter a numeric Collection ID.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

This destination appears only for content it can receive.

Example: a quick capture to Raindrop
Configure your “Design” collection ID and export a design article. Raindrop saves the bookmark in that collection and fetches its metadata.
Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured Raindrop export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by Raindrop.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- Only links are supported. A text Capture is accepted only when its entire content is one http(s) URL.
- Collection ID must be numeric.
- An internet connection is required.
Troubleshooting
- If Capture reports Raindrop only supports links, capture the URL itself rather than surrounding prose.
- If saving fails, verify the Test token and numeric Collection ID.
