Catch a task or plan in Capture before sending it to GoodTask. Create one or more GoodTask tasks with list, date, alarm, priority, location, and line-splitting options.

What gets sent to GoodTask

  • Text becomes the task title; Split Lines Into Tasks can make one task per line.
  • Links use fetched title as title and URL as the task URL field.
  • Capture’s selected date becomes Due date when no configured due value exists.

Set up GoodTask in Capture

  1. Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
  2. Choose GoodTask from the app picker.
  3. Install GoodTask and optionally choose its list, date values, priority, and a saved Location Favorite.
  4. Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

Enable Split Lines Into Tasks and export a three-line packing list. GoodTask creates three separate tasks in the configured list.

Send the capture

  1. Open an existing Capture and choose its configured GoodTask export action.
  2. Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by GoodTask.

Limits and troubleshooting

Limits

  • Due after must be numeric and is ignored when a due date is present.
  • Alarm requires Due date or Due after.
  • Capture does not validate list or location names.

Troubleshooting

  • If Save rejects Due after, enter whole minutes only.
  • If no alarm appears, provide a due value or select a date on the Capture.
