Use your configured export action when the capture is ready.
What gets sent to Reflect
- Text becomes Reflect text and includes Capture’s selected date where applicable.
- Links send the absolute URL.
- The selected action is sent as create-task or append-to-daily-note.
Set up Reflect in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose Reflect from the app picker.
- Use Capture on macOS, install Reflect, and choose the Action.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.
Supported Capture types
This destination appears only for content it can receive.

Example: a quick capture to Reflect
Choose Append to daily note and export a brief reflection. Reflect appends it to today’s note.
Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured Reflect export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by Reflect.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- Reflect is excluded from Capture’s destination picker on iOS, iPadOS, and visionOS.
- Images and files are unsupported.
Troubleshooting
- If Reflect is missing, configure it on macOS.
- If a task is created instead of a note entry, check the Action field.
