What gets sent to Apple Reminders

  • Text becomes reminder title.
  • Links use fetched title as title and set both notes and URL.
  • A selected Capture date becomes due date and, when enabled, an alarm.

Set up Apple Reminders in Capture

  1. Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
  2. Choose Apple Reminders from the app picker.
  3. Grant Capture full Reminders access so it can list and save reminders.
  4. Choose Default or a specific list and set the open/notification switches.
  5. Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

Example: a quick capture to Apple Reminders

Capture “Submit report”, choose Friday at 17:00, and export. Reminders creates it in the configured list with a due date and alarm.

Send the capture

  1. Open an existing Capture and choose its configured Apple Reminders export action.
  2. Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by Apple Reminders.

Limits and troubleshooting

Limits

  • Full Reminders access is required.
  • No alarm is added when the Capture has no selected date.
  • Attachments are unsupported.

Troubleshooting

  • Use Give access to Reminders if lists are unavailable.
  • If there is no notification, confirm both a Capture date and Enable reminder notifications.
