What gets sent to Todoist
- Text becomes task content.
- Links become their absolute URL as task content.
- A selected Capture date is formatted and sent to Todoist.
Set up Todoist in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose Todoist from the app picker.
- Install Todoist and choose a priority from 0 through 4.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

This destination appears only for content it can receive.

Example: a quick capture to Todoist
Set Priority to 4, capture “Ship the release”, and select tomorrow at 09:00. Todoist opens the task with content, date, and urgency.
Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured Todoist export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by Todoist.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- Images and files are unsupported.
- Capture does not configure a Todoist project or labels.
Troubleshooting
- If priority is unexpected, remember Todoist uses 4 as most urgent.
- If no date appears, set a start date on the Capture before exporting.
