What gets sent to iMessage

  • Text becomes the message body.
  • Links send the title and URL when metadata exists, otherwise the URL.
  • The configured recipient is placed in the sms: URL.

Set up iMessage in Capture

  1. Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
  2. Choose iMessage from the app picker.
  3. Optionally enter a phone number in international format or an iMessage email address; leave it blank to choose a contact during export.
  4. Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

  • Attachments are unsupported through this URL route.
  • Capture opens a composed message; it does not send automatically.

Troubleshooting

  • If the wrong thread opens, verify the full international number or email.
  • Leave Recipient blank if you prefer to choose a conversation each time.
