Get the words down in Capture, then hand them to iMessage when you are ready to share. Open Messages with a Capture prefilled for an optional phone-number or email recipient.
A quick capture workflow for iMessage

Use your configured export action when the capture is ready.
What gets sent to iMessage
- Text becomes the message body.
- Links send the title and URL when metadata exists, otherwise the URL.
- The configured recipient is placed in the sms: URL.
Set up iMessage in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose iMessage from the app picker.
- Optionally enter a phone number in international format or an iMessage email address; leave it blank to choose a contact during export.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured iMessage export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by iMessage.

- Attachments are unsupported through this URL route.
- Capture opens a composed message; it does not send automatically.
Troubleshooting
- If the wrong thread opens, verify the full international number or email.
- Leave Recipient blank if you prefer to choose a conversation each time.
