Get the words down in Capture, then hand them to WhatsApp when you are ready to share. Open WhatsApp with a Capture drafted for an optional phone number, or choose the contact during export.

What gets sent to WhatsApp
- Text becomes the drafted WhatsApp message.
- Links send title plus URL when metadata exists, otherwise the URL.
- The optional phone number is placed in the wa.me path.
Set up WhatsApp in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose WhatsApp from the app picker.
- Install WhatsApp and optionally enter a phone number in international format; leave it blank to choose a contact.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured WhatsApp export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by WhatsApp.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- Images and files are unsupported through this route.
- Capture opens a draft and does not send automatically.
- WhatsApp is intentionally excluded from Add all installed apps and must be added manually.
Troubleshooting
- If the wrong contact opens, verify country code and digits.
- Leave the field blank when you want WhatsApp’s contact picker.
