Quick Notes for Agenda

Use Capture as a fast inbox before an idea becomes a note in Agenda. Turn a Capture into a new Agenda note, with optional project placement, note state, and attachment presentation controls.

To send a capture to Agenda, open Capture Settings, choose Export, and add Agenda as a destination. Install Agenda on the device where you use Capture. Choose the target project and note-state options, or leave the project blank to use Agenda’s selected project. Text and phone captures become the note title. Links use the fetched page title as the note title and the URL as note text. Agenda is offered as a destination for Text, Links, Images and Files captures.

    Use your configured export action when the capture is ready.

What gets sent to Agenda

  • Text and phone captures become the note title.
  • Links use the fetched page title as the note title and the URL as note text.
  • Images and files are passed as a base64 attachment with the original filename.
  • A selected Capture date is sent as the Agenda note date.

Set up Agenda in Capture

  1. Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
  2. Choose Agenda from the app picker.
  3. Install Agenda on the device where you use Capture.
  4. Choose the target project and note-state options, or leave the project blank to use Agenda’s selected project.
  5. Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

This destination appears only for content it can receive.

Example: a quick capture to Agenda

Capture a project decision with a PDF attached, set Project Title to “Website”, enable On The Agenda, and export. Agenda creates a dated note in that project and carries the PDF as the note attachment.

Send the capture

  1. Open an existing Capture and choose its configured Agenda export action.
  2. Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by Agenda.

Limits and troubleshooting

Limits

  • Capture does not validate project names or Agenda display-style values before opening Agenda.
  • The integration depends on Agenda’s x-callback URL support and requires the app to be installed.

Troubleshooting

  • If the note lands in the wrong project, enter the exact Agenda project title.
  • If an attachment does not appear, confirm the capture still has readable file data and try the export again.
