Use Capture as a fast inbox before an idea becomes a note in Craft. Create a Craft document or append a block to an existing document using Craft space, folder, and block identifiers.
A quick capture workflow for Craft

Write or share the thought into Capture while it is fresh.

Save the Capture without stopping to organize the destination.
- 03Send to Craft
Use your configured export action when the capture is ready.
What gets sent to Craft
- Text becomes document or block content.
- New-document links use a fetched page title as the document title and the URL as content.
- Append mode joins the link title and URL on separate lines.
Set up Craft in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose Craft from the app picker.
- Install Craft and copy the Space ID from a Craft deeplink.
- For Create document, optionally enter a Folder ID. For Append to document, enter the document’s Block ID from Copy Deeplink.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

This destination appears only for content it can receive.

Example: a quick capture to Craft
Set Action to Append to document, paste the Block ID for your running log, and choose End. Each exported Capture becomes a new block at the bottom.
Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured Craft export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by Craft.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- Attachments are not supported.
- Capture does not look up Craft IDs or confirm that the block belongs to the configured space.
Troubleshooting
- If Craft opens without updating the document, recopy the Space ID and Block ID from Craft deeplinks.
- Use Folder ID only with Create document.
