Use Capture as a fast inbox before an idea becomes a note in Everlog. Add text or a link to an Everlog journal, optionally opening the editor and preserving a selected Capture date.
A quick capture workflow for Everlog

Save the Capture without stopping to organize the destination.

Use your configured export action when the capture is ready.
What gets sent to Everlog
- Text becomes entry content.
- Links join the fetched page title and URL.
- The selected Capture date is formatted and sent as the entry date.
Set up Everlog in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose Everlog from the app picker.
- Install Everlog, then optionally name the target journal and choose whether its editor opens.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

This destination appears only for content it can receive.

Example: a quick capture to Everlog
Configure Journal as “Daily Wins” and enable Open editor. Exporting a quick win opens the new entry so you can add context before saving.
Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured Everlog export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by Everlog.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- Attachments are unsupported.
- Capture does not validate journal names.
Troubleshooting
- If the default journal is used, check the configured journal spelling.
- Turn off Open editor for a faster hands-off entry flow.
