Fields and options

Field or optionWhat it changes
API keyRequired Mem API key.

Example: a quick capture to Mem

Add your “Product ideas” collection ID, then export a Capture about onboarding. Mem receives a Markdown note inside that collection.

Send the capture

  1. Open an existing Capture and choose its configured Mem export action.
  2. Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by Mem.

Limits and troubleshooting

Limits

  • Images and files are unsupported.
  • Content is capped at 200,000 characters and 200,000 UTF-8 bytes; Capture sends the longest safe prefix.
  • An internet connection and valid API key are required.

Troubleshooting

  • If export fails, recreate or recopy the API key from Mem Settings > API.
  • If the note is not in a collection, verify each comma-separated collection ID.
