Use Capture as a fast inbox before an idea becomes a note in MindNode. Send a Capture into MindNode using Capture’s bundled “CaptureToMindNode” Siri Shortcut.
A quick capture workflow for MindNode

Write or share the thought into Capture while it is fresh.
- 02Keep moving
Save the Capture without stopping to organize the destination.
- 03Send to MindNode
Use your configured export action when the capture is ready.
What gets sent to MindNode
- Text and phone captures are passed to the shortcut as text.
- Links pass the absolute URL.
- The installed shortcut performs the MindNode handoff.
Set up MindNode in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose MindNode from the app picker.
- Install MindNode.
- Choose MindNode in Capture, continue to Add to Shortcuts, add the bundled shortcut from the share sheet, return to Capture, and complete setup.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

This destination appears only for content it can receive.

Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured MindNode export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by MindNode.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- The previous direct MindNode Quick Entry configuration no longer works with the latest MindNode and is retained only for old saved destinations.
- Attachments are unsupported.
- Deleting or renaming the bundled shortcut breaks the handoff.
Troubleshooting
- Delete and recreate any destination that still shows the legacy Clear existing option.
- Use Re-configure integration with Shortcuts if CaptureToMindNode is missing.
