Use Capture as a fast inbox before an idea becomes a note in Noted. Create a Noted note in a chosen notebook and optionally create that notebook or start recording immediately.
A quick capture workflow for Noted

Write or share the thought into Capture while it is fresh.
- 02Keep moving
Save the Capture without stopping to organize the destination.
- 03Send to Noted
Use your configured export action when the capture is ready.
What gets sent to Noted
- Text becomes the note title because Noted’s URL scheme has no separate body field.
- Links join their fetched title and URL into that title field.
- Start Recording switches to Noted’s new-record route.
Set up Noted in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose Noted from the app picker.
- Install Noted, optionally enter a notebook title, and choose whether to create a new notebook or start recording.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

This destination appears only for content it can receive.

Example: a quick capture to Noted
Set Notebook title to “Interviews” and enable Start Recording. Export an interview prompt to create the note and begin recording.
Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured Noted export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by Noted.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- Create New Notebook requires a notebook title.
- Images and files are unsupported.
- All exported text is placed in Noted’s title parameter.
Troubleshooting
- If Capture refuses to save, add a title or disable Create New Notebook.
- If recording does not start, confirm Noted still supports its new-record URL route.
