To send a capture to UpNote, open Capture Settings, choose Export, and add UpNote as a destination. Install UpNote and optionally enter the notebook name. Text becomes the note title and includes Capture’s selected date where applicable. Links use fetched title as note title and the URL as note text when metadata exists. UpNote is offered as a destination for Text and Links captures.

Set up UpNote in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose UpNote from the app picker.
- Install UpNote and optionally enter the notebook name.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

Example: a quick capture to UpNote
Set Notebook to “Ideas”. Exporting a link creates a note in Ideas with the page title and URL.
Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured UpNote export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by UpNote.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- Attachments are unsupported.
- Capture does not validate the notebook name.
Troubleshooting
- If the note is not filed correctly, verify the notebook name.
- If link title is missing, the URL is still exported.
