Use Capture as a fast inbox before an idea becomes a note in UpNote. Create a new UpNote note from Capture and optionally route it to a notebook.
A quick capture workflow for UpNote

Save the Capture without stopping to organize the destination.

Use your configured export action when the capture is ready.
What gets sent to UpNote
- Text becomes the note title and includes Capture’s selected date where applicable.
- Links use fetched title as note title and the URL as note text when metadata exists.
Set up UpNote in Capture
- Open Capture Settings, choose Export, then tap Configure if this is your first destination or Add new destination.
- Choose UpNote from the app picker.
- Install UpNote and optionally enter the notebook name.
- Review the destination name and icon, then tap Save.

This destination appears only for content it can receive.

Set Notebook to “Ideas”. Exporting a link creates a note in Ideas with the page title and URL.
Send the capture
- Open an existing Capture and choose its configured UpNote export action.
- Capture hands off only the supported types listed above. Complete any confirmation or compose screen shown by UpNote.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- Attachments are unsupported.
- Capture does not validate the notebook name.
Troubleshooting
- If the note is not filed correctly, verify the notebook name.
- If link title is missing, the URL is still exported.
